Dr. Arjun Kathayat

Founder, President & Executive Director, IRIOSH

Dr. Arjun Kathayat is an occupational health and safety researcher whose work spans Canada, Malaysia, and the United States, with a focus on strengthening global safety and health governance. His research examines comparative OSH frameworks and safety performance indicators, with contributions published in Frontiers in Public Health. He continues to advance evidence‑based policy development that supports safer, more equitable, and resilient workplaces across sectors.

Thaier Al‑Issa, EGI‑GM, M.Eng., P.Eng.

Board Member – Industry, IRIOSH

Thaier Al‑Issa brings more than two decades of engineering, operational, and regulatory experience to the IRIOSH Board. As General Manager of Sour & Odour Services in Canada, he leads safety‑critical projects in emissions control, sour gas treatment, and industrial risk mitigation. His industry leadership is grounded in a strong commitment to technical excellence, environmental responsibility, and evidence‑based decision‑making. Through his role at IRIOSH, he helps strengthen governance practices and advance practical, industry‑aligned standards in occupational health and safety.

Alanna Parsan, MBA

Board Member – Finance & Governance, IRIOSH

Alanna Parsan brings extensive experience in financial leadership and program management to the IRIOSH Board. As National Director of Business Banking Programs & Sales at BMO, she oversees strategic initiatives that strengthen operational performance and client‑focused financial solutions across Canada. Her expertise in governance, risk oversight, and organizational finance supports IRIOSH’s commitment to transparent, accountable, and sustainable nonprofit management.

Andrei Musienco, MBA

Board Member – Director‑at‑Large, IRIOSH

Andrei Musienco brings strong expertise in operational excellence, strategic leadership, and organizational performance to the IRIOSH Board. As Vice President of Operational Excellence at Windmill Farms in Ontario, he leads initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across large‑scale agricultural operations. His experience in process improvement and governance supports IRIOSH’s mission to strengthen board practices and advance high standards in occupational health and safety.

Parizaad B. Mohangoo

Board Member & Secretary/Treasurer, IRIOSH

Parizaad Mohangoo brings experience in financial services, community leadership, and organizational administration to the IRIOSH Board. As a Banking Advisor with RBC, she supports clients through personalized financial guidance and relationship‑focused service. She also serves as the Head Librarian at the local public library, leading community programming and local outreach. Her strengths in finance and governance contribute to IRIOSH’s commitment to transparent and accountable leadership.
