International Disaster Management Collaboration - Knowledge Exchange: Saskatchewan, Canada - Malaysia.
In 2026, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) hosted a virtual guest lecture featuring Dr. Arjun Kathayat, Founder of IRIOSH, and Mayor Lucille Dunn, Board-Chairperson. The session brought together Canadian disaster management expertise and Malaysian public health leadership, medical officers, and PhD in Public Health students in Malaysia.

*Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) — Conducting comparative OSH policy research between North America and Southeast Asia, focusing on the OSH inspector ratio to enhance decent work environments, with associate professor Dr. Mohd Rafee Baharudin, PhD. (Chairperson, co-author) and associate professor Dr. Mohd Zahirasri Mohd Tohir, PhD. (advisory member, co-author)
*Columbia Southern University (CSU) - Exploring OSH leadership styles to predict employee safety performance and job satisfaction, contributing to improved workplace conditions with Dr. Jodine Burchell, Phd. (Chairperson, co-author) and the advisory members.
*Canadian Common Ground Alliance (CCGA) — Presenting at conferences in Regina (2025) and Halifax (2026), Canada, to share insights on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to occupational safety.
*International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) — Conducting peer reviews of 25 abstracts for the 2026 World Congress in Munich, Germany, which will further our understanding of global health issues.
